Bird's Foot Violet

This viola isn't as common as some of the others, but may be the prettiest. It prefers sunny and drier areas. The flowers have 5 lavender petals with the lower petal sometimes bigger than the others. Stamens are orange. Leaves differ from other violas in that they deeply lobed into narrow divisions with 3 parts.
