Jack-in-the-Pulpit
Arisaema triphyllum
We've spotted these plants at quite a few of the falls we've been to. The flower is actually down in the spathe or 'pulpit' and not really visible, but still worth a mention. Each plant has 1 or 2 leaves and are better seen in the next photo. The leaves are basal and divided into 3 parts. Berries form inside the spathe and are exposed in the fall after the spathe fades away (last photo).
