Virginia Spiderwort
Tradescantia
virginiana
I'm not real sure about the ID here, could be T. ohiensis, but it is a spiderwort. The leaves if this plant are long and grasslike - the flower is blue to purple and has 3 petals. The Cherokee used Spiderwort as an ingredient in several preparations for female and kidney problems. They used a tea for digestive problems and would rub crushed leaves on insect bites.
