John's Jump
John's Jump

John's Jump is a fairly nice 25' waterfall - nothing spectacular, but worth a look if you are in the area. It's right next to Hwy 281, but requires a semi-steep climb down to the base. Parking for the waterfall is just under 5 miles down 281 south from Hwy 64. Pull off the left side of the road in a wider grassy shoulder area in a curve to the left. If you get to a right turn for Whitewater Church Rd, you've gone too far. You'll hear the waterfall at the north end of the parking area. There's path heading down the right side of Mill Creek to the base of the falls. If you are a fairly mobile person, you shouldn't have any problems getting down.
