If you are just looking to add falls to your list of ones you've visited, you might as well add Laughing Falls. It's a 50' cascade and is really nice, but the vegetation has closed in on it and there's not much room to move around or hang out comfortably.

From the intersection of highways 276 north, 64, and 280, take 280 east for 0.7 miles and turn left on Old NC 280. Go just over 0.1 miles and turn left on SR1361. Drive another 0.7 miles on the gravel road to the end and park on the right side without blocking the gate. Head down the drive on the right to the creek and cross the best way you can. Then follow the trail up the right side of the creek on your left. It's about 1/4 mile up to the falls, but there's no real trail down to the creek. You may notice where folks have scrambled down the bank. If you get to a 'private property' sign, you've gone too far.
