This next 50-60' falls is one of our best finds and worth the
effort it takes to get there. It's on Right Fork and you'll pass by 2 huge boulders right before you get to the falls - thus the name we
gave it - Twin Boulder Falls. KT, Cathy and I were just getting ready to give
up on this stream and head back to the trail, but turned a corner and could see the top of the falls over the boulders.
I got KT to take a photo of me with my camera in that 2nd photo.
You will pass this smaller waterfall on Right
Fork near Lanning Branch on the way up to the main waterfall.
These next 2 waterfalls are on Shuck Ridge Creek,
upstream from the main waterfall. Both are about 20' high, near the 4200' elevation
mark.
