Max Patch 1
As many of you know, the Appalachian Trail runs right over the top of Max Patch Mountain in western NC near the Tenn. border. The mountain is a big pasture area and you basically have a 360º view of the surrounding mountains. I was fortunate enough to be on the mountain during a period of rime ice and light snow to capture this image. Max Patch and several of the mountain tops were covered in white. This is truly one of the most awesome sights I have seen since moving to the mountains.
