Your purchase helps support this web site and allows me to keep it free of annoying advertisements! I'm excited to announce that I've made a major improvement to the way I sell prints. I can now offer a wider variety of print sizes, different finishes, and have added Metal Prints, Giclée watercolor prints and Giclée canvas prints either wrapped, stretched, or mounted to rigid Gatorboard. The prints are from a professional lab and the files I send them are hand checked for correct color, contrast and brightness by the lab to optimize print quality from their equipment. The lab is in California, so please take this into account when choosing your preferred method of shipping.
More Information About Print Sizes - The full size images from my camera can be printed in any size that is a 2:3 ratio (8x12, 12x16, 20x30, etc). I now offer these full size images! Store bought frames for these sizes can be hard to find, so please check before you order. If you are having the prints custom framed this won't be a problem. I also still offer the traditional print sizes (8x10, 11x14, 16x20), but you will have to crop from the full size image in checkout. The default is center crop, but you have the option to move the crop to your liking. You have a choice of either a Lustre, Glossy or Metallic finish on your prints. The Lustre finish offers the vibrant colors of glossy with a fingerprint resistant matte finish. The Glossy finish is shiny and reflective, but also has vibrant colors. Images printed on Metallic paper are also reflective, but they have a depth to them that the Glossy finish doesn't have. I get a lot of 'Wow!' comments when people see a print on the Metallic paper. All prints are on Kodak professional papers.
Metal Prints - Yes, you read this correctly - Metal Prints! This a truly unique product and transforms an image into a stunning work of art. It comes ready to hang, so there's no need for a frame! The dyes are infused on to a specially coated sheet of rigid aluminum about the thickness of a CD. The Metal Print is durable, waterproof, and scratch resistant and can be cleaned with any commercial glass cleaner. Each Metal Print comes with (2) 3/4" thick foam blocks with aluminum backs with pre-drilled holes for easy hanging (see image below). The Metal Print 'floats' off the wall! The corners have also been slightly rounded to get rid of the sharp edges. At the present time I am offering a high gloss finish which gives the image a magical luminescence, but I will also be offering a beautiful satin finish in the near future.
Canvas Prints - Canvas has become a very popular medium for displaying prints and I now offer 3 choices. The Giclée canvas prints area on museum quality canvas and a protective spray coating is applied to the surface of each print to help prevent scratches and other damage. The galley wraps are a frameless solution for displaying a print and hanging hardware is attached to each piece. Part of the image is wrapped around the side of a wooden internal frame and the canvas is stapled securely in the back. The only problem is that on some of the images, part of the picture that you would want to be on the front ends up on the side. When you click on this option, the graphic will show you which how much of the image will be wrapped. If you see an image that you would really like as a gallery wrap but don't like the way it wraps, please email me and I may be able to help. I can add a black or white border around the image and that will be on the sides as opposed to part of the image. Please tell me what size you are considering as the size border I add varies with each size.
The stretched and canvas board prints will need to be framed, but don't need glass. The stretched is similar to the wrapped as it is wrapped around an internal frame also. But, all of the image is on the front and the canvas is stapled on the sides - and they do show. Once the canvas is framed, they don't show any more. The canvas board prints are mounted onto sturdy Gator Foamboard, a very rigid foamboard and lightweight backing with a white finish. Both products with the appropriate frame makes a stunning display!
Watermark - The images in the galleries are watermarked with 'ncwaterfalls.com' in the lower left. This watermark does not appear on your print!
Ordering - Click on a thumbnail image to get a bigger version of the image you are interested in. Then click 'Buy', then 'This Photo'. A window will appear with all of the prices, sizes and finishes that are offered. Click the '+' next to your choice to add 1 or more to the shopping cart. Click the '-' to take the item out of the cart. Click 'Back to Photos' to browse some more, or 'Checkout' to pay. If you have chosen an image that needs cropping, you will see that in checkout. Click 'Adjust' and slide the box to your liking, then click 'Save Crop' - it's really easy! The lab is in California and all orders are shipped from there. If you choose 3-5 business days or quicker for shipping, your order will be shipped via UPS and will be trackable. Prints are shipped flat and are over-packed to prevent damage. Credit card purchases are safe and secure. Payment is by either credit card (Master Card, Visa, Amex, and Discover) or by Amazon Payments.
