Slippery
Witch Falls
Slippery Witch Falls is a really nice 75-100' waterfall that is right next to the road! Only problem is that it's on private land. On my last 2 visits, the land wasn't posted and has yet to be developed. This could change at any time. It's up to you to decide if you want to leave the road and descend to the base.
There are 2 ways to get to the waterfall. You can park at D.E.W. Falls and follow Mill Creek to the base of Slippery Witch. This will require some bushwhacking and trying to follow a faint fisherman's path. Or you can drive about 5 miles down 281 south from Hwy 64 passing the D.E.W. and John's Jump parking and turn right on Whitewater Church Rd. In a short distance, the road bears right at a church on to Upper Whitewater Rd and again at Cash Rd. The road soon crosses Mill Creek at the top of the waterfall where you can park and look at the top of the waterfall. You may notice a path on either side that others have taken to the base.
